I Was hoping the year would not end before we got any new news on Drizzt, and here it is; though not much. But we have some new release dates on some upcoming books. Night of the Hunter comes out in March, where Drizzt and his allies return to Gauntlgrym's Underdark where they must get through not only the undead, but a colony of drow determined to see him dead. Followed by Rise of the King this Summer.

Comic Con is just a few days away, and according to IDW's schedule there is nothing in Drizzt future this convention. Seems that Salvatore has his eyes set on Gen Con in August, which does seem more fitting. But if you are attending con, step by the IDW booth #2643 and ask them what's up with Drizzt. Maybe enough of us ask, it may click we want more Drizzt, not a filler comic, but a comic with some real substance. Everyone going, hope you have a safe great Con.

I am a bit of a traditionalist, I love sitting on the couch or lying in bed and reading a book. I have turned away a number of audio books, but recently a friend has forced me into listening to one. Took some getting used to, but found it very convenient. Put it in my phone, and I can listen to it on my way to work or while I am at work. And the Crystal Shard is one of many of our favorite elf that is being made into audio books, and I must say it's amazing how much more you get out of it when you hear it, than just reading it.
